1. General provisions
1.1. The present shipping regulations specify the terms and conditions of cooperation between the West-Trans company, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, and natural persons, legal entities, as well as organizational units without legal personality in the European Union, hereinafter referred to as the Ordering Party.
1.2. Signing of a waybill by the Contractor is equivalent with acceptance of the Regulations and the conditions resulting thereof; on the moment of signing of the waybill, the Ordering Party accepts the Regulations as a part of the concluded contract for provision of shipping services.
1.3. The Contractor may contract a transport service to third-party carriers, whereas it shall remain liable for all actions of other carriers as for own actions.
1.4. The Ordering Party, as a party in a contract, is obliged to ensure that the Consignor and Consignee, as appointed by the Ordering Party, will fulfill their obligations resulting from their participation in the provision of the service. Omission and failure to fulfill the obligations of the Consignor and Consignee shall be treated as the Ordering Party’s default on the contract.
